The first edition of Short Sea Commodities 24, the new in person event on short sea containerized, drybulk and breakbulk commodities in and around Europe, will take place on January 25th in Rotterdam, Europe's premier short sea hub. The venue of Short Sea Commodities 24 will be the Marriott Hotel Rotterdam and the event will run from 10.30 hrs - 18.00 hrs.

Short Sea Commodities 24 aims to link up Europe's maritime logistics sector with the continent's commodity trading sector, fielding both speakers on the latest trends in (dry) commodities and on the latest developments in ports and maritime logistics around Europe.

Short Sea Commodities 24 is an initiative of Atlantico Business Development, the independent port promoter and maritime business developer based in the ARA-region (the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp ports cluster) and its sister company Atlantico Group, an international consultancy on geopolitical risks and opportunities, operating worldwide through London, Houston, São Paulo, Warsaw, Singapore and Cape Town.

The event is following up and deepening the Ship2iberia, Projectcargo4iberia, Railcargo4iberia, Ship2ARA and Ship2dBaltic seminars developed by Atlantico Business Development since 2015, joining these specialized events into a much broader Short Sea Commodities 24.
